Coach Joe Kapp

Coach Kapp is in his 3rd season as an Assistant for both Middle School and Varsity.  He also serves as the team's Social Media Director. 

Coach Kapp helped guide the Middle School team to a perfect (7-0) season in his first year.  Coach Kapp coached Mars Youth Football for 13 years, 4 as a Head Coach and the other 9 as an Offensive Coordinator before moving up to the high school ranks.  

Coach Kapp is a graduate of Clarion University and Clarion Area High School. He was a 3 year letterman for the Bobcats in both football and wrestling. He was also a Varsity Assistant Wrestling Coach for 3 seasons at his Alma Matter Clarion. 

Coach Kapp has one daughter Emily, a 2021 graduate of Mars Area High School who is now attending college at Penn State Behrend. He currently resides with his girlfriend Kristie and their two dogs and two cats.
